HomeMy WebLinkAboutConditions of PermitCONDITIONS OF PERMIT BLRE-04-17-4677 Travis Stewart Detached Barn -Manufactured Steel Building Roaring Fork Preserve -Lot 4 Carbondale, Colorado 1) ALL WORK SHALL COMPLY WITH THE 2015 VERSIONS OF l.R.C., l.B.C., l.F.G.C., l.M.C., 1.M.C. AND 2009 VERSIONS OF l.E.C.C. & l.F.C. IN ADDITION, ALL WORK SHALL COMPLY WITH MANUFACTURER'S INSTALLATION SPECIFICATIONS. 2) REFER TO PLAN ATTACHMENTS FOR BUILDING REQUIREMENTS AND INSULATION DETAILS AT EDGE OF CONCRETE SLAB FOUNDATION. 3) PROPOSED BUILDING IS APPROVED AS A DETACHED ACCESSORY STRUCTURE TO RESIDENTIAL USE. ANY CHANGE IN USE AND/OR OCCUPANCY MAY REQUIRE A LAND USE CHANGE PERMIT AND/OR SUBSEQUENT BUILDING PERMIT(S). 4) PRIOR TO CONSTRUCTION, CONTACT LOCAL FIRE DISTRICT FOR PERTINENT FIRE CODE REQUIREMENTS (2009 INTERNATIONAL FIRE CODE). FIRE DISTRICT'S FINAL APPROVAL REPORT IS REQUIRED PRIOR TO FINAL BUILDING INSPECTION & CERTIFICATE OF OCCUPANCY. 5) PER PLAT NOTE #14, A SITE SPECIFIC GEOTECHNICAL SOILS INVESTIGATION MUST BE CONDUCTED TO DETERMINE FOUNDATION DESIGN REQUIREMENTS. IN ADDITION, AN OPEN-HOLE SOILS REPORT IS REQUIRED AT FOOTING INSPECTION TO VERIFY MINIMUM SOILS BEARING CAPACITY (AS DETERMINED BY SOILS ENGINEER) WITH STRUCTURAL ENGINEER OF RECORD. 6) A LOT IMPROVEMENT CERTIFICATE SEALED BY A COLORADO LICENSED SURVEYOR IS REQUIRED AT FOUNDATION INSPECTION TO VERIFY STRUCTURE WILL BE IN CONFORMANCE WITH BUILDING SETBACK REQUIREMENTS. 7) ALL HIGH-STRENGTH BOLTING AND FIELD WELDING REQUIRES A SPECIAL INSPECTOR PER SPECIAL INSPECTIONS PROVISIONS OF l.B.C., CHAPTER 17. PROVIDE APPROVAL REPORT AT FRAME INSPECTION. 8) ELECTRICAL PERMITTING AND INSPECTIONS BY COLORADO STATE ELECTRICAL BOARD. ELECTRICAL ROUGH-IN APPROVAL IS REQUIRED AT FRAME INSPECTION. ELECTRICAL FINAL APPROVAL IS REQUIRED FOR FINAL INSPECTION & CERTIFICATE OF OCCUPANCY.
