Gentlemen:
In response to the County Commissioners' request, Battlement
Mesa, Inc., hereby agrees to purchase, house, and maintain
a snowplow for use as needed by County maintenance personnel
for maintenance of County facilities within the Battlement
Mesa PUD. The equipment will be in accordance with the
attached specifications recommended by Leonard Bowlby,
Maintenance Supervisor for Garfield County.

I am sending you specifications on the truck I have in
stock. I am also including the equipment installed on the truck
that you specified. The truck is a 1981 Ford, Model F-800, 2 -
ton, with 27,500 lbs. GVW rating; the gross combination vehicle
rating would be 60,000. I am sure that is ample for your truck
and trailer needs.

floor, 96" wide heavy duty. The hoist will be a 9 ton capacity,
with single gear PTO. I am including a flip up type hitch,
with pintle hook, and light wiring for your trailer. The

snowplow will be a 10' Western with lights and hydro angling.
The winch will be a Ramsey electric, 8,000 lb. capacity, 150'
of 5/16" cable, power in and power out; also, T am including
an extra battery with isolator. The tires will be front and
' rear on/off highway tread. It will be 4 -wheel drive with 2 -
speed transfer case.
Total price of this unit, F.O.B., Denver,
Colorado, including F E T $36,979.00
Applicable sales taxes to be added.
