Re:Amended Final Plat, Lot 18, The Fairways at Aspen Glen
Dear Mark:
I am enclosing herewith for approval and signature by the Board of County Commissioners
the original mylar plat of Amended Plat of Lot 18, The Fairways at Aspen Glen. Also enclosed is
the necessary Application Form together with our check in the amount of $140.00 for the fee
application.
The purpose ofthis amended plat is to enlarge the building envelope on the subject lot. After
the modification, the building envelope will comply inall respects withthe setbackandotherzoning
restrictions contained in the applicable zone district for the Aspen Glen PUD. This lot was not
affected by any geotechnical constraint, so the increase in the size of the building envelopes is
consistent with all Preliminary Plan conditions regarding the location of building envelopes.
Furthermore, although the affected lot is now owned by a third party, the increase in the size of the
building envelope has been reviewed and approved by Aspen Glen Golf Company.
A draft ofthis proposed Amended Plat was previously submitted to and approved by Garfield
County. As you can see, the amended plat is fully executed by its owners, their representatives, and
the County Surveyor.
The property owners are most anxious to have this plat amendment approred. For this
reason, it would be greatly appreciated if this plat amendment could be placed on the Board's
consent agenda for this coming Monday, May 7,2001, when two other, similar Final Plat
Amendments are scheduled for consideration.
