The final platforAspen Glen Filing 1 des(lnates ertain lo,ts as'duplet'. The lots allored
for dupbxes are known as the "D" lots, and the subiect lot, D-30 complies with that
restriction. The Des(;n Revieuv Commiftee of Aspen Gbn has rcviewed the applietion
and the CIi,ner is cunentf seekirg to subdivide the structure abng the common rmll in
order to creab legal descriptbns neessary to convey the trrvo sides separately.
il. AUTHORTTY
Sectbn of the Garfield County Unifed Land Use Resolution of 2008, as anended, alkilus
this type of application via an administrative permit with the Dircctor of Building and
Planning issuing a determination of whether the application mmflies wi$t Code
requirements. The Code does stipulate that an amendment may be made to a recorded
plat, if such arnendment'does not 1) increase the number of subdivision lots or drelling
units, or 2) result in the mdjor relocation of a road or add new roads. This request wil! not
result in either of the two aforementioned standards and Staff finds these stardards are
met. ln addition, the regulations require that the folloring:
STAFF RECOTTENDATION
That all representations of the Applicant, either within the application or sffi at the
meeting before the Board, shall be consklered conditions of approval.
That prior to scheduling the plat for Board of County Commissioner signatute, the
applicant shall make the required changes reoommended by Statr

County. The Amended Final Plat shall meet the minimum CRS standards for land
survey phts, as required by Colorado state law, and approved by the County Sun eyor.
