Dear Mark:
I am enclosing herewith for your review and consideration by the Board of County
Commissioners three blackline copies of a proposed Amended Plat of Lot G5, Aspen Glen, Filing
No. 1. The purpose of this amended plat is to slightly enlarge the building envelope on the Lot.
Afterthe modification, the building envelope will comply in all respects with the setback and other
zoning restrictions contained in the applicable zone district for the Aspen Glen PUD. This Lot was
not affected by any geotechnical constraint, so the increase in the size of the building envelope is
consistent with all Aspen Glen PUD and preliminary plan conditions regarding the location of
building envelopes. Furthermore, although the Lot is now owned by a third pafi, the increase in
the size ofthebuildingenvelopehasbeenreviewedand approvedbyAspen Glen Golf Companyand
by the Aspen GIen Homeowners Association.
The owners of the Lot are most anxious to have this plat amendment approved, as it is my
understanding that issuance of a building permit awaits approval of this plat amendment. Please,
therefore, place this amended plat in front of the Commissioners at your first opportunity. It is our
intention to very shortly follow-up this submittal with the delivery to you of the mylar of the
proposed amended plat executed by the owners and their representatives.

Dear Cathi:
Per our recent discussion I am herewith delivering to you five additional copies of the
proposed Amended Plat of Lot G 5, Aspen Glen, Filing No. l. I am also enclosing a copy of a letter
from the Homeowners Association at Aspen Glen indicating its approval ofthe requested expansion
of the building envelope on Lot G 5.
Additionally, I would like to also call to your attention that on August 1,2001I delivered to
you the original mylar of this proposed Amended Plat fully executed by the owners and their
representatives. I request that this mylar also be available at the Commissioners' meeting on
Monday on the assumption that if the amendment to the Plat is approved, the Commissioners can
sign the mylar at that time.
