The Plat was then sent from Jim Hardcastle to you, as County Surveyor, for your comments. ln a conversation with our firm's paralegal, you mentioned that it was possible to have comments on the Plat completed by July l9n. Since this date, our office has left three unreturned messages with you regarding its status. It has now been four months since the Commissioners' approval. It should not take that long for review of any plat, much less a very simple one. If deluyr^of thir nature are commonplace, ii indicates a need to analyze the demands on your time, in general, and the requirement for County Surveyor review ofplats, in particular. If the demands on your time are so overwhelming that a one- page plat can't be reviewed in a matter of weeks, much less four months, something needs to be fixed. I would greatly appreciate it ifyou will contact me with the status ofthe Plat or let me know if there is anything further you need from our office to expedite its approval.
