Dear Mark:
I am enclosing herewith for approval and signature by the Board of County Commissioners
the following original mylar plats:
1. Amended Plat of Lots I and 2, Aspen Glen, Filing No. 5; and
2. Amended Plat, Lot WP5, Aspen Glen, Filing No. 3.
. The purpose of both of these amended plats is to enlarge slightly the building envelope on
each of the subject lots. After the modification, the building envelopes will comply in all respects
with the setback and other zoning restrictions contained in the applicable zone district for the Aspen
Glen PUD. None ofthese three lots was affected by any geotechnical constraint, so the increase in
the size of the building envelopes is consistent with all Aspen Glen PUD and Preliminary Plan
conditions regarding the location of building envelopes. Furthermore, although the affected lots are
now owned by third parties, the increase in the size of the building envelopes has been reviewed and
approved by Aspen Glen Golf Company.
As you can see, both amended plats are fully executed by the owners, their representatives,
and the County Surveyor.
The individual property owners are most anxious to have these plat amendments approved.
In the case of Lot l, Filing No. 5, it is my understanding that issuance of a building permit awaits
approval of this plat amendment. For this reason, it would be greatly appreciated if these plat
amendments could be placed on the Board's consent agenda for this coming Monday, April 16,

2001. From my review ofthe draft agenda, it appears there is already an amended plat within Aspen
Glen that will be approved at that time, so Monday seems like an opportune date to approve these
plat amendments as well.
Thank you very much for your assistance. As always, please do not hesitate to contact me
with any questions or concems you may have about this matter.
Very truly yours,
