Dear Mr. Johnson;
The Department of Community Development has reviewed the plat for the requested amended
plat to combine Lots 22 and 23, as referenced above. The plat is subject to review criteria in
Article 5 of the Land Use and Development Code of 2013.
Please forward these comments to your surveyor to amend the plat as follows:
1. The title of the plat should read
Amended Final Plat
Aspen Glen — Roaring Fork Mesa, Lots 22 and 23
County of Garfield, State of Colorado
All references to the legal description on the plat should be amended to conform to the
title of the plat;
2. Ownership of the parcels is in trust, therefore the Certificate of Dedication and Ownership
must be amended to reflect this. As well, the signature lines must indicate the authorized
person to act on behalf of the trusts.
3. The notes on the plat must be amended to include all of those notes on the Aspen Glen
Roaring Fork Mesa final plat. A note referencing the prior plat notes could be utilized in
place of repeating the information on this plat;
4. The following certificate should be amended to include the date line as indicated below.

5. The building envelope as described on Lot 23 should be removed pursuant to comments
from the Aspen Glen Design Review Committee.
6. The last line in the Commissioner's Certificate starting with "This approval ..." need to be
removed.
The County Surveyor will provide comments directly to Tuttle Surveying. Once all comments have
been adequately addressed, and approval has been granted by the Director, a mylar may be
printed and the following signatures obtained:
a. Owner(s) — signatures must be notarized;
b. Mortgage company, if applicable;
c. Your surveyor;
d. Treasurer;
e. Title Company (or attorney).
The planner will obtain the remainder of the signatures including the County Surveyor, Board of
County Commissioners and Clerk and Recorder.
Once the 10 day Board of County Commissioner call -up period has passed, and no call -up is
requested, the mylar may be submitted to the planner who can schedule the plat for Board of
County Commissioner signature. Once all signatures are complete the plat will be recorded (the
applicant is responsible for paying recording fees).
