Dear Mark:
In accordance with our recent discussion I am delivering herewith the mylar of an Amended
Plat for Lots 36 and37, Roaring Fork Mesa at Aspen Glen, Filing No. 2. As you can see, this plat
has been fully executed by Aspen Glen and the County Surveyor.
The purpose of this plat is to consolidate Lots 36 and 37 into one, larger lot which will be
known hereafter as Lot 36A of Roaring Fork Mesa at Aspen Glen. This plat also consolidates each
of the building envelopes on the previous lots into one, large building envelope.
We have gone back and searched all the appropriate engineering information regarding these
two lots and hereby state that there are no issues which arise from this request to consolidate the two
lots. All necessary drainage and utility easements are preserved. There are no sinkholes or other
geotechnical constraints in this area within Aspen Glen, so the expanded building envelope does not
violate any setback imposed by the County. The new lot is consistent in all respects with applicable
zorung.
Based upon the foregoing, we respectfully request that the County approve the within
Amended Final Plat. As we have discussed, we would like the Board to consider this matter on
Monday, September 21.,1998, when we are in front of the Board on other matters for Aspen Glen.
