THE FINISHED SOIL SURFACE SHALL BE LEFT IN AN IRREGULAR, SCARIFIED CONDITION WHICH MAXIMIZES MOISTURE RETENTION ON THE SLOPE. WHERE SLOPE ALLOWS, SEED SHALL BE DRILLED OR OTHERWISE MECHANICALLY INCORPORATED INTO THE SOIL ('FARMED). WHERE STEEPNESS OF SLOPE RESTRICTS EQUIPMENT ACCESS, SEED SHALL BE HVDRAUUCALLY APPUED MD FOLLOWED BY APPUCATON OF HYDRAUUCALLY APPUED MULCH OR STRAW. THE EXPOSED SLOPE WOULD BE PREPARED WITH MINI BENCHES. TOPSOIL WOULD THEN BE SPREAD OVER THE SLOPE, SEEDED AND COVERED YAM STRAW. EROSION C0N1R0L BLANKET WOULD THEN BE TACKED INTO THE HILLSIDE COVERING ALL THE SEEDING. IF EXISTING MOISTURE CONDITIONS INDICATE THE REQUIREMENT FOR IRRIGATION. THE! EITHER DRIP IRRIGATOR OR MINI -SPRAY IRRIGATOR WOULD BE USED.
