HomeMy WebLinkAbout5.0 Resolution 12.11.1978• • RESOLUTION WHEREAS, Pierre Barthelemy has submitted a Preliminary Plan of the Rifle Service Park industrial park to the Garfield County Planning Commission for review under C.R.S. 1973, 30-28-133 as amended; and, WHEREAS, proper legal notice of a public hearing for the consideration of the Preliminary Plat and proper notification of adjacent property owners as required by the Garfield County Subdivision Regulations have geen given; and, WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of Garfield County, Colorado has conducted said public hearing and considered all public testimony concerning said Preliminary Plat; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that upon the motion of Ms. Barbara Lorah, seconded by Dr. Carter Jackson, and carried, the Preliminary Plat for the Rifle Service Park industrial park is hereby approved. THE GARFIELD COUNTY PLANNING COMMISSION OF GARFIELD COUNTY, COLORADO By: Da e Albertson, Chairman Pro Tem Arnold Mackley, Secretary CERTIFICATION OF PLANNING COMMISSION ACTION ON THE RIFLE SERVICE PARK PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT The Planning Commission of Garfield County, Colorado certifies to the Board of County Commissioners of Garfield County, that on Monday, May 8, 1978, at the regular monthly meeting of the Planning Commission, the following action took place regarding the request by Mr. Pierre Barthelemy for a Planned Unit Development by the name of Rifle Service Park. Mr. Kelley Meyer moved that the Planning Commission recommend to the Board of County Commissioners approval of the PUD request subject to the following conditions: (1) The fire protection proposed be considered only a temporary provision. No more than 20,000 square feet shall be constructed under the well and pump system of providing fire protection water. When the new water line for the City of Rifle is constructed in this area, the developer tap onto that line for domestic water and fire protection service; (2) An access permit be granted by the State Department of Highways for the three lots shown fronting on Highway 6 & 24; An agreement be reached for the treatment of sewage generated by the PUD by the Cottonwood Springs Mobile Home Park sewage treatment plant; and, (4) The front yard setback on arterial streets be changed to provide for a 50 foot setback.
