I would offer the following comments: 1. The general road layout for the filing is acceptable including the location of the emergency access road that originates north of Pinion Drive and connects north of Cedar Cove. We feel that temporary cul-de-sacs will not be necessary for this filing. 2. We reviewed and approved the proposed K -turnaround for "Drive D" which serves five lots. Garfield County Attorney 109 Eighth Street Glenwood Springs CO 81601 RE: Los Amigos Ranch PUD/Red Canyon Water Company Water System Infrastructure Dear Don: Mr. Greg Boecker, Manager, Los Amigos Ranch PUD, has asked me to respond in writing to you concerning questions you have raised with respect to the water system infrastructure on the above -referenced property. I have been working with Los Amigos Ranch PUD since 1980. During that time, water system infrastructure, consisting primarily of distribution lines, has been installed for Filings 1 through 5, Subdivision 11. Currently a 320,000 gallon water tank and pressure reduction stations are also being installed. To the best of my knowledge, all of this infrastructure has been and is being installed in accordance with approved Final Plat documents for the respective filings. Materials for construction and workmanship have been in accordance with standards of the industry. Prior to my work for the project, the wells and control building were constructed. Subsequent to my involvement, there have been some modifications done to the control and pumping systems with which I have had direct involvement. Everything I have seen in the field, again, is consistent with standards of the industry and, to the best of my knowledge, is in conformance with Final Plat approvals prior to 1980. On a number of occasions, I have met with the service companies that have been employed by Los Amigos Ranch to expand the water facilities and by Red Canyon Water Company to maintain and modify these facilities. In all cases, their work and the facilities they were working on meet standards of the industry and Garfield County requirements. I trust the above is sufficient to address your concerns. If you require more detail, I will be happy to provide it to you. I remain available to provide what other information your office may require. Respectfully submitted, SCHMUESER GORDON MEYER, INC.
