'ERMISSION IS HEREBY GRANTED TO THE APPLICANT AS OWNER, CONTRACTOR AND/OR THE AGENT OF THE CONTRACTOR OR OWNER TO
CONSTRUCT TI -IE STRUCTURE AS DETAILED ON PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS SUBMITTED TO AND REVIEWED BY THE BUILDING DEPARTMENT
IN CONSIDERATION OF THE ISSUANCE OF THIS PERMIT THE SIGNER HEREBY AGREES TO COMPLY WITH ALL BUILDING CODES AND LAND USE
REGULATIONS ADOPTED BY GARFIELD COUNTY PURSUANT TO AUTHORITY GIVEN IN 30.23.201 CRS AS AMENDED. THE SIGNER FURTHER
AGREES THAT IF THE ABOVE SAID ORDINANCES ARE NOT FULLY COMPLIED WITH IN THE LOCATION, ERECTION, CONSTRUCTION AND USE OF

The Battlement Mesa Service Association Architectural Review Committee for Tamarisk Village
has received your request for approval to place an Oakwood Manufactured Home and garage
on your lot at 130 West Tamarack Circle as shown in the plans submitted and to landscape your
rear lot with grass and various trees to be planted in the locations shown on your drawing.
Your request is approved as submitted with the folio ng considerations:
If in the course of constuction and landscaping, the use of any vacant adjoining property
for material and equipment storage, delivery of materials or any other purpose, is
prohibited unless written permission is received from that property owners. A copy of
which should be sent to this office. Failure to obtain permission, is considered
trespassing under County and State laws and violators can be subject to penalties there
under.
Please be informed that you have nine months to complete your home building
improvements from the date of your building permit.
Thank you for complying with the Covenants of your Association.

Dear Mr. & Mrs. Nichols.
As stated in the letter sent to you dated October 8. 1996 the Battlement Mesa Service
Association granted you a 30 day Lime extension to complete the construction of your garage.
By allowing this time extension the Service Association consented to you obtaining a C.O. and
occupying the home on the specific condition that you fully complete the construction of the
garage within 30 days following issuance of the C.O. on the home by the Garfield County
Building Department.
I contacted the Building Department and was informed that you received your C.O. on
November 18, 1996. You are now 21 days past the time frame you were given to fully
complete your garage and are in violation of Section 8.8 or the Association's Protective
Covenants. The Service Association will grant you an additional ten (10) days from the date of
this letter to complete your garage. If it is not completed within chat time period you may be
subject to a hearing, fines or potential legal action initiated against you by the Battlement Mesa
Service Association.
