The push piers were installed in accordance with the manufacturer's recommendation and specifications. The two attached drawings show the final post -lift elevations and the amount of lift that was attained. The "Post -Lift Elevations" drawing can be used as a benchmark for future reference. The initial laser -level elevation survey done on August 23, 2016, indicated the house was 9-1/4" low at the west corner adjacent to the garage, compared to the high point at the south corner of the main -level bedroom. The post -lift elevation survey shows the low point is just 3/4" lower than the same high point in the main -level bedroom. Thus, the foundation wall elevation difference is now just 13/4" of being level. Other observations are: • The interior floor shows slight sag between the foundation walls. • The interior drywall cracks are in the process of being repaired. • A few interior doors will need adjusted due to the lifting. • The kitchen countertop beneath the wall cabinets are within +1/4" of being level. • Residential Structural Inspections • Foundation Design and Piering 124 River Bend Way page 2 October 13, 2016 • The island countertops are only +1/16" out -of -level. • The two proposed piers at the front porch were not installed. Three previously installed piers at the porch will be used instead. • Two extra piers were installed at the garage side of the front foundation wall, while eliminating a third pier that had failed. • The damaged wall at the south garage corner is repaired using epoxy that will adhere to the concrete and to the exposed rebar.
