I conducted said search by doing the following: I determined that the property was a portion of the SE/4SE/4 of Section 28, T7S, R96W, 6th P.M. I checked the web site of the Colorado Oil & Gas Conservation Commission and determined that there were producing wells on said SE/4SE/4, and that the spacing for said land was 80 acres, being the S/2SE of said section 28. When I went to the Assessor’s office I confirmed that they do not track mineral ownership or tax mineral rights, except at the request of the mineral owner who must provide proof of ownership. There were no active mineral accounts on this property. Using the geographical index of the Garfield County Clerk & Recorder, I found a Declaration of Pooling and Pooling Agreement, which listed all the Oil & Gas Leases that covered land in said S/2SE/4. I examined the leases and determined which leases covered the land under the Pro Gas LLC property and who the owners were that leased said property. I then ran the title forward from the date of each of the leases to the present by using the records of the Clerk & Recorders office, and also using the geographical indexes of Stewart Title of Edwards, Colorado. There were numerous conveyances of mineral interest in this property, which I copied and examined. From examination of these conveyances I produced the Mineral Owners list that was provided. I also did a quick check of the title chain to confirm the ownership from the Declaration of Pooling was consistent with the prior deed
