The bearing conditions were presented in a report dated December 28, 2016 and the steel reinforcement placement was presented in a report dated February 8, 2017. The soil conditions exposed in the excavation were consistent with those previously encountered on the site and suitable for support of the structural slab designed for the recommended allowable bearing pressure of 1,500 psf or subgrade modulus of 125 tcf. The observed final steel reinforcement placement was in accordance with the structural drawing. In our opinion, the bearing conditions and steel reinforcement placement are consistent with the foundation design drawings.
