Contractor that Performed Work Tally Ho Construction
of fabrication or field work at ob site: Field
Report: Inspected high strength A325 bolting at the main frame, end wall frame,
and portal frame column, rafter,and beam connections, Also randomly
tested/verified 4325 bolts were adequately tightened.
The high strength A325 bolting inspected above appeared to be in substantial
conformance with the plans, ffid the AISC/RCSC Specification for high strength
bolting except as noted below.
l) It appeared that the top connection seats at the light gauge columns end wall
ta*ing grid line 6 were welded on (from the factory) at the wrong slope to match
roof taftJrs. Subsequently there was a gap atone side & the faying/connection
surfaces were not in finn contact. Please have structural engineer and/or metal
building manufacture review & provide fix if needed.
