The following comments based on the 1988 edition of the
Uniform building code shall be resolved prio& to the
issuance of the building permit.
The purpose of this review is to provide for minimum
protection of life, limb, health, property, environment and
for the safety and welfare of the consumer ai1d general
public as regulated by the UBC .
./ 1. Provide scale or dimensions on wall section to
verify minimum requirements for for footing and foundation
wall thicknesses per Table 29-A UBC.
/ 2. Specify concrete strength on plans. Sec. 302.
v'3. Specify the size, grade, and species of lumber
used for the garage header and all exterior headers over 4
feet. 2516(c).
