COLORADO 016150 THOMAS W, STIJVl!:R RUSSEL.L GEORGE September 3, 1987 Jim McMurrey Garfield County Building Inspector 109 Eighth Street, Suite 303 Glenwood Springs, CO 81601 Dear Mr. McMurrey: Re: Michael and Terri Waldron Please give consideration to renewing the building permit for Mr. and Mrs. Waldron or otherwise giving them credit or a refund. As you know this permit relates to their property on Grass Mesa. About the time they poured the footers on their planned home, Mr. and Mrs. Waldron became concerned about legal irregularities with respect to this property. After consul- tation with this office, they wisely stopped construction. Serious title and other legal problems existed at that time. Some of these remain unresolved at present. None of these problems are of Waldron's own making. Fairness would dictate that they should not be penalized for delays in construction caused by these problems. Please call if you would like details on this subject.
