1) NEW WORK RELATED TO RESIDENTIAL IMPROVEMENTS SHALL COMPLY WITH THE
FOLLOWING BUILDING CODES: 2015 INTERNATION RESIDENTIAL CODE AND 2009
INTERNATIONAL ENERGY CONSERVATION CODE.
2) REFER TO PLAN ATTACHMENTS FOR GARFIELD COUNTY BUILDING REQUIREMENTS.
REDLIN ED NUMERICAL NOTATIONS ON PLANS REFER TO ITEMS ON THE ATTACHED
"RESIDENTIAL PLAN REVIEW LIST".
3) OPEN-HOLE SOILS REPORT IS REQUIRED AT FOOTING INSPECTION TO VERIFY 1500 PSF
AS SPECIFIED BY STRUCTURAL ENGINEER.
4) VERIFY SIZE OF EXISTING RESIDENCE+ NEW ADDITION DOES NOT EXCEED 3 BEDROOMS
PER EXISTING 1,000 GALLON CAPACITY SEPTIC TANK. IF A LARGER SEPTIC SYSTEM IS
REQUIRED BECAUSE OF NEW BEDROOM ADDITION, O.W.T .S. MUST BE DESIGNED BY A
COLORADO LICENSED ENGINEER (AS PER PLAT NOTE #15).
5) VERIFY CARBON MONOXIDE & SMOKE ALARMS AT ALL BEDROOMS WITHIN EXISTING
DWELLING (AS PER ITEMS #32, #33 OF PLAN ATTACHMENTS).
6) ELECTRICAL PERMITTING AND INSPECTIONS BY COLORADO STATE ELECTRICAL BOARD.
ELECTRICAL FINAL APPROVAL IS REQUIRED PRIOR TO FINAL BUILDING INSPECTION &
CERTIFICATE OF OCCUPANCY.
