RE: Snyder Property;' New Castle, CO
Dear Bob:
p `'R° 1'!'
J L., 1978 k
We have field checked the Snyder property located in Section 5,
part of Lot 9 along the North edge of the Colorado River west of
New Castle, and based on the attached sketch supplied by your
office concluded the following:
1. Parcel A (50%) has about one acre which falls in the
i00 -year floodplain.
2. Parcel B (30%) is out of the floodplain.
3. Parcel C (20%) has about one acre which falls in the
100 -year floodplain.
Until the property is surveyed and split we will be unable to arrive
at a closer estimate.

Re: Smith, Hardy, Van Leeuwen,
Sneer and Cozens Exemptions
Dear Ms. Anderson:
We have reviewed the material submitted concerning the above
referenced applications for exemption from subdivision regulations. It
appears that all of the proposals are situated in areas where there is
sufficient ground water available to allow for issuance of domestic well
permits on all parcels without injury to senior water rights. This permit
allows for household use and irrigation of up to one Acre of lawn or
garden per lot as well as stock watering. We recommend approval of the Smith,
Hardy, Van Leeuwen, Snyder and Cozens Exemptions.
Very truly yours,
