1) ALL WORK SHALL COMPLY WITH THE 2015 INTERNATIONAL RESIDENTIAL CODE (I.R.C.)
AND 2009 INTERNATIONAL ENERGY CONSERVATION CODE (I.E.C.C.)
2) PROPOSED IMPROVEMENTS ARE SUBJECT TO ALL APPLICABLE ITEMS CONTAINED IN THE
ATTACHED "GARFIELD COUNTY BUILDING REQUIREMENTS". NUMBERED REFERENCES
NOTED ON PLANS REFER TO SPECIFIC ITEMS ON THIS LIST.
3) GARAGE/SHOP BUILDING IS APPROVED AS A DETACHED RESIDENTIAL ACCESSORY
STRUCTURE AND IS SUBJECT TO COMPLIANCE WITH GARFIELD COUNTY'S "RURAL" ZONE
DISTRICT REQUIREMENTS.
4) IF STRUCTURE WILL BE HEATED - AT PRESENT OR SOME FUTURE DATE - FOUNDATION
AND EDGE OF CONCRETE SLAB SHOULD BE INSULATED DURING EXCAVATION. SEE NOTE
ON SHEET 2 FOR SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS.
5) IF APPLICABLE, ELECTRICAL PERMITTING AND INSPECTIONS BY COLORADO STATE
ELECTRICAL BOARD. ELECTRICAL ROUGH -IN APPROVAL IS REQUIRED AT FRAME
INSPECTION. ELECTRICAL FINAL APPROVAL IS REQUIRED FOR FINAL INSPECTION &
CERTIFICATE OF OCCUPANCY.
