Civil & Consulting Engineers January 25, 2009 Garfield County Building & Planning 108 8th Street, Ste. 201 Glenwood Springs, CO 81601 Re: ISDS for 5333 County Road #100 BUI Project: 08002.03-Kruidenier RECEIVED JAN 2 2 2009 GARFIELD COUNTY BUILDING & PLANNING To Whom It May Concern: A site review was conducted on December 15, 2008 for the replacement of the septic field for the Kruidenier residence located at 5333 County Road #100, Garfield County, CO. The system appeared to be installed in conformance with the intent of the design. The existing, failing leach field was not able to be easily 'located so it was abandoned in place and the sewer line was intercepted upstream. The new septic field was comprised of 111 Quick4 Infiltrator units in a trench configuration. The Side walls were relatively free of soil smears. Inspection ports had not been installed, but materials were onsite. The Contractor was advised to backfill with native loam material after picking out any 6"+ rocks and boulders.
