The basis for this request is the exceptional topographic condition of this parcel. A garage built at any other location on the lot would not be useable during the winter months of the year due to the steepness of the driveway. (Section 9.05.03) The parcel is located at 1075 County Rd. 129. Additionally County Road 129 (formerly US HWY 6&24) has a 100 ft. ROW. County roads are usually 60 ft. wide. As shown on the plans the proposed garage is more than 39 ft. from the county road pavement. Specifically we are requesting a variance to permit construction of the garage within 5 ft. of the side lot line and within 1 ft. of the front lot line.
