Bear Creek Construction installed the system. RB Electric wired the pumping system. The control panel for pump is located under the stairs in the Tractor Shed. A clean out was installed between the tractor shed and the septic tank. The installation included a new 1000-gallon, two-compartment concrete septic tank. An Orenco® ProPak Pump Package with an Orenco® PF3005 pump 1 was installed in the second compartment of the septic tank. The pump floats were set to does approximately 70 gallons each pump cycle (allowing for 25 gallons of drain back). The control panel for the pumping system was installed within line of sight of the septic tank. The filter in the pump chamber must be cleaned annually, or as needed. A 2-inch diameter Schedule 40 pump line with a minimum 1% slope for drain back was installed from the new septic tank to the existing septic tank. The new septic tank was placed at a higher elevation than originally calculated, so our recommendation to enter the existing septic tank through the inlet knock out into an inlet tee to minimize turbulence in the septic tank was not feasible. The contractor entered the top of the septic tank with the pump line, as was done with the previous installation. We recommend installing an Orenco® Biotube Effluent Filter on the outlet of the existing (1989) 1000-gallon septic tank. If installed, this filter must be cleaned annually, or as needed. The OWTS was generally installed according to specifications. This observation is not a guarantee of workmanship and/or parts and materials. ALL SERVICE septic, LLC should be notified if changes are made to the OWTS in the future. Any additional OWTS construction must be according to the county regulations. 1 A high-head pump has been specified so it may be utilized in the future if a new STA is to be constructed. LIMITS: Observations are limited to components that are visible at the time of the inspection. The installer must have documented and demonstrated knowledge of the requirements and regulations of the county in which they are working. The quality of the installation is dependent of the expertise of the installer, soil type, and weather conditions. Please call with questions.
