ln addition to a copy of the soils report which I requested on Friday, I have a couple of other questions for you as we
finalize our review of this building permit application:
o Can you please provide me with actual floor elevations (elevation height above sea level) for the proposed
residence? Or provide us with actual elevation equivalent for L00'-0" datum elevation?
o Has a driveway permit or letter been issued by Garfield County's Road & Bridge Dept.? lf so, please provide copy
of letter.
o Please provide digital copy of soils report per previous email.
Once we receive this outstanding information, we willfinalize our plan review

We have recently been advised by Jim Cashion & Roger Giard that the building permit application submitted for your
new residence on Gage Road ín Rifle is no longer necessary, because you have decided to not build this new home.
Although Giard Homes has advised us that we should close out and void this permit, we actually need to receive that
message directly from you, since you are the owners of this property'
Therefore, if you could please send us a short email confirming that we should close out & void this permit application,
we will proceed with fulfilling your request. As already discussed with Giard Homes, because we had already completed
our plan review for your project, the fees paid upfront at the time of permit application will be used to offset our time
spent reviewing your project, but there will not be any additional monies due for closing out your project.

Just wanted to follow-up on my conversation with Jim Cashen a couple of days ago on the Cotter Residence. As I
discussed with Jim, we had already completed our plan review of this project with the exception of obtaining a couple of
remaining items from your firm when we were advised of your client's desire to suspend and/or cancel this building
permit.
Can you please follow-up with an email reply formally requesting that we close out this building permit application?
Since we already completed the plan review, the original deposit checks you submitted at time of application will be
used to cover our costs and no additional funds will be due to close out this permit application.
