2) IMPROVEMENTS ARE SUBJECT TO ALL APPLICABLE ITEMS CONTAINED IN THE ATTACHED
"GARFIELD COUNTY BUILDING REQUIREMENTS". NUMBERED REFERENCES NOTED ON
PLANS REFER TO SPECIFIC ITEMS ON THIS LIST.
3) BASEMENT AREA MAY NOT BE USED AS A SEPARATE LOCK -OFF OR ACCESSORY DWELLING
UNIT WITHOUT FIRST OBTAINING A LAND USE CHANGE PERMIT THROUGH GARFIELD
COUNTY'S PLANNING DEPARTMENT.
4) REFER TO PLAN ATTACHMENTS, PAGE 8 FOR SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS AT BASEMENTS
INCLUDING THE FOLLOWING ITEMS:
A. EMERGENCY ESCAPE OR RESCUE
B. NATURAL LIGHT & VENTILATION
C. SMOKE & CARBON MONOXIDE ALARMS
5) VERIFY INSTALLATION OF SMOKE/CARBON MONOXIDE ALARMS THROUGHOUT ENTIRETY
OF EXISTING SINGLE-FAMILY DWELLING PER ITEMS #32 AND #33 OF PLAN ATTACHMENTS.
6) ELECTRICAL PERMITTING AND INSPECTIONS BY COLORADO STATE ELECTRICAL BOARD.
ELECTRICAL ROUGH -IN INSPECTION IS REQUIRED AT FRAME INSPECTION & ELECTRICAL
FINAL APPROVAL IS REQUIRED PRIOR TO FINAL BUILDING INSPECTION & CERTIFICATE OF
OCCUPANCY.
