Field Observation Notes:
Wood
In accordance to your requcst, on May I and 14, 2014 Oddo Engineering's personnel observed the
placement of the footing and wall reinforcement and on June 22,2014 to observe wood framing at
the Garage Addition. Oddo Engineering's scope of servicc was to verify the corect rebar
placement in the footing and walls and proper installation of the wood walls and roof. Our
observation was limited 10 areas with easy access and not all wall areas were verificd. Please see
below for field observation notes:
Rebar appears to be clean with minimal rust.
Oddo Engineering was not present at time of pour.
Verify that all rebar has proper edge distance as noted in details prior to pouring concrete.
It appears that the vertical, horizontal, and corner bars have adequate lap splices at the
select few locations that were verified.
framing notes:
Provide additional Leclger Lok fasteners at south gable
It is acceptable to use H1 Hurricane clips for the truss to plate connection
It is acceptable to use Trus Lok Fasten Master fasteners for the truss to beam connection at
the covered porch roof.
In general, the rebar placement in the walls and tboting and wood framing was satisfactory and
appears to be per the Oddo Engineering's clrawings dated 4-30-14. Let me know if you have any
