HomeMy WebLinkAbout3.0 CorrespondenceTo Garfielcl Cnunty Planning Dcpartment:
please be advised that there will only be one residential dwelling built on the High Aspen Exemption
Parcel C. A'guest house' had been noted in the past when Parcel C was associated with Parcel 1, but
parcel C is now an individualsingle-family lot. The home has been designed in accordance with the
square footage and building envelope restrictions as required by prior land use approvals.
The architect f¡rst contacted the County to confirm if any land use approvals would be required in
September of 2OL7 and we were not notified that this amended plat would be required until January
201-8. The exemption parcel was approved by county commissioners over 1-7 years ago in accordance
with Garfield County regulations.
We do not understand what is taking so longto obtain this minor land use change on a parcel platted in
accordance with country regulations. Anything that can be done to hasten this process would be greatly
appreciated as our contractor's schedule is vital to our meeting the budget, which is why we first
contacted the County about this in September.
