Box 908 Glenwood Springs, Colorado 81602 iS¡rnick@sopris.net Project No. 17-7-443 Subject:Observation of Pier Hole Drilling, Proposed Esgar Residence, ó188 County Road 331, Garfield County, Colorado Gentlemen: As requested, a representative of H-P/Kumar observed the pier hole drilling at the subject site on November 14 and 15,2017 . The piers are for support of the proposed residence. We previously conducted a subsoil study for design of foundations at the site and presented our ñndings in a report dated June 26,20t7, Project No. l7-7-443. The building has been designed to be supported on 34 l2-inch diameter piers with a minimum embedment length of 20 feet and minimum penetration into bedrock of 10 feet, as recommended. Pier hole drilling observations are provided in the attached daily reports. Based on our observations, the piers were installed generally as recommended and should perform as intended. Concrete was placed in the pier holes the same day they were drilled. If you have any questions or need further assistance, please call our office. Sincerely, H-P\KUMAR Steven L.
