BUILDING PLANS: 2 sets of plans must be submitted. Plans must be 18"x24" minimum size, complete,
identical, legible andto scale. All plans will be checked at the counter for completeness. lf any of thä
required information is missing, the building permit applicalion cannot be accepted.
SITE PLAN: Please make sure the following information is provided on the site plan.o Propertyaddress/legaldescription.o North Anow and Scale on each page.r Show all property lines, building envelopes, flood plain and easements.I Provlde setback dlstances from boundaries, buildings, septic, well and watenvays.. Location and directlon of the county or private road and driveway accessing the property.r Proposed and existlng structures. lnclude sheds, barns, decks, patios, and any other búi6ings.r Existing and proposed grade, positive drainage around structure (to be contained on site).¡ Streams, rivers, creeks, springs, ponds and ditches.r Existing and proposed wells, septic tanks, leach fields and other systems (if applicable).r Retaining walls (engineer stamped detail requlred for walls over 4 ft., measured from ¡'ottom offooting to top of wall).

STRUCTURAL PLANS: Please provide the following information on the structurat plans.o Design specifications to include roof and deck snow load, wind and seismic àesign and frostdepth.r Foundation plan showing complete footing and foundation dimensions.r Footing and foundatlon details specifying reinforcement and rererencÀo on plans.r Framing,plans for each floor level and roof. and/or plans for compliance, the application may be placed on hold until the required lnformation ls
provlded. Work may not proceed without the issuance of a permit.
The Building Division wlll collect a Plan Revlew fee at time of application submittal. The permtt fee, as
well as any Road lmpact fees will be collected when the permit is issued.
The permit appllcation must be signed by the owìer or by person having written authority from the owner
to act as their representative.
Building cannot be occupied untila Certlficate of Occupancy (CO) is lssued. Using the building without a
CO will be considered an illegal occupancy and may be grounds for vacating the þremises. (FlnailCo
inspection requirements will be attached to your approved fleld set of plans.|
