Subject: Chaplin Addition- Southern stair pads
Jim,
Good Morning,
Per our conversation yesterday and in talking with the Contractor, Roger, it was determined that the southern footer
pads for the addition stairway were placed too shallow.
The request has been made to the concrete subcontractor to lower the elevation of these pads by 30" to 36".
This will assist in getting these pads below any recent fill down to a native soil depth, as well as assure proper frost
depth once finish grade is established.
Tony Herra will make these modifications prior to pouring on Monday.
