GARFIELD COUNTY, COLORADO
PETITION FOR EXEMPTION
Pursuant to C.R.S. (1973) Section 30-28-101(10)(a) - (d) as amended,
and the Subdivision Regulations of Garfield County., Colorado, adopted
September 1, 1972 and amended April 14, 1975, Sections 1.02.17(d) and
3.02.01, the undersigned SPRING VALLEY RANCH, LTI).
respectfully petitions the Board of County Commissioners of Garfield
County, Colorado, to exempt by resolution Tracts 1, 2, 3, and. 4, each
containing five acres, more or less, and all being a part of a 2,900 acre ranch,
more fully hereinafter described, from the definitions of "subdivision"
and "subdivision land" as the terms are used and defined in C.R.S. (1973)
Section 30-28-101(a) - (d) and the Garfield County Subdivision Regulations
for the reasons stated below:
The four tracts are contiguous parcels lying in a non -tillable
area in the vicinity of two existing residences.
Road access is provided by County Road 115 which boundaries all
four tracts on the north.
Power and telephone service is now located across the area.
Water would be provided by individual wells. A map is attached
showing existing water sources proven to exist in the vicinity.
Waste disposal would be by individual systems.
