Gambel oak. The average annual production of air-dry vegetation is about
11500 Snunds per acre. If the range condition deteriorates, mountain big
sagebrush, Ianceleaf rabbitbrush, Kentucky bluegrass and annual weeds
increase.
If the range vegetation is seriously deteriorated, seeding is needed.
The suitability of this unit for rangelard seedirg is good.
'Ihe Acree soil is well suited to hay and IESture. Seedbed preparation
should be on tlre contour or acrcss t}re slope where practical. All adapted
pasture plants can be growr, hrt b.rnch-type sSncies planted alone generally
are nct suitable because of tl're hazard of erosicn. Proper stockirg rates,
;rasture rotation, and restricted grazing during r,,et lnriods help to keep t}te

plication should be granted and that 0.446 cubic feet of water per
second of tine is hereby awarded to the lFace Mountain Spring, for
piscatorial, livestock water and irrigation uses, with appropriation
date of the 31st of December, 1gTg, absolutely and unconditiona}ly;
subject, however, to all earlier priority rights of others and to
the integration and tabulation by the Division Engineer of such
priorities and'change sof rights in accordance with law.
It is accordingly ORDERED that this ruling shall be fited with
the Water C1erk and shall become effectlve upon such ,filing, subject
to Judicial review pursuant to Section 37-92-304 CRS 1973.

6. 0n August 28, 1980, in Case No. B0CHB9, the l,later Referee for WaterDivision No. 5 awarded to Face Mountain Spring, an absolute water right for0.446 cubic foot of water per second of ti*e,"io be used for piscatoiial,livestock water and irrigation purposes, with appropriation dite of December31, L9?9.
