Request for waivers
To whom it may concern;
I am respectfully requesting a waiver to Section: 7-1001 of the Garfield County Standards in
consideration of the following:
1) The project is in a platted subdivision with businesses, therefore this subdivision is not
exclusively a residential subdivision. 7-1001.A. and 7-1001.8. do not apply.
2) This facility is not industrial in nature, therefore 7-1001.C., D., E., F. & G. do not apply.
3) Activities at this facility will be similar to and consistent with that of the other businesses in this
subdivision that can operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, therefore a waiver for this standard
is supported.
4) There will be no operations at this facility that will emit heat, glare radiation or fumes that will
substantially interfere with the existing use of adjoining properties or cause a public nuisance or
hazard, therefore 7-1001.1. does not apply.
Inconsideration of 4-118.C., I believe the intent of the subject standard has been achieved to the same
or better degree and it imposes no greater impacts on adjacent properties than would occur through
compliance with the specific requirements of this Code.
Thank you for considering our request.
Sincerely,
