This amended plat has been fully executed by the necessary representatives of the owner and the mortgagee. As we discussed, this amended plat is necessary to resubdivide Lot A-1 into two units divided along the common party wall of the completed duplex structure. This resubdivision has therefore already been conceptually approved by the Board when it approved the Final Plat of Midland Point. As I indicated, we have a closing scheduled for next Friday, October 12th, for one of the affordable housing units in this duplex. Obviously, this amended plat must be recorded to enable that closing to move forward. I therefore respectfully request that this amended plat be put on the Board's consent agenda for this Monday, October 8th, and signed by the Chairman of the Board at that time, even if Sam Phelps has not been able to review and sign the plat prior to Monday. Mildred could then hold the plat prior to recording until Sam has the chance to sign it. I am also enclosing our check in the amount of $140.00 for the $100.00 filing fee and $40.00 for the County Surveyor's review of this amended plat. BALCOMB & GREEN, P.C.
