I followed up our phone conversation earlier today by discussing your question about the requirement for tempered
glass at the transom window shown on North Elevation (see l/Sheet 43.1) with our building inspectors & Andy
Schwaller. Evidently the requirement of 60" above adjacent walking surface was a new addition to the 2015 ICC codes,
and so technically you are correct that it doesn't need to be tempered glass to meet code requirements.
