RE: 147 Callicofte Ranch Dr., Garvik Residence - Stacked Roch Walls
Dear Mr. Garvik:
The purpose of this letter is to confinn the adequacy of the stacked rock wall setbacks. The design
from tlre plan sheet Cl dated April 17, 2017 by Mountain Cross Engineering, Inc. has the stacked
rock wall as Detail "4" and showing a single tiel with a maximum height of 4'. The plan view
shows multiple ticls of stackecl rock walls. The intent was that each tier be setback 4' from other
tiers so that the average overall slope would be I :1; an overall stable slope. It is reported that the
setbacks from each tier are 4' andtherefore the intent has been achieved. Pictures were provided:

Based on the statements made to Mountain Cross Engineering, Inc. and the above, it appeals that
the wall tier setbacks were installed per the intent of the plans. The conclusions and opinions that
are expressed above are based on the information available at the time of the preparation of this
letter', Any additional information presented afterward rnay require that these opinions and the
recomrnendations be modified.
