Ryan Murr installed the system. A new sewer line with a double-sweep clean out and minimum 2% grade to the septic tank was installed. The system installation included a 1000-gallon, two-compartment Infiltrator® poly septic tank with an effluent filter on the outlet tee. This filter must be cleaned annually, or as needed. Risers brought the manhole lids to grade for access. A Bull Run valve was installed on the 4-inch sewer line exiting the septic tank. This allows for alternating the STAs. We recommend keeping the tool for alternating the Bull Run Valve in housing pipe for the valve. Each zone of the STA consists of a distribution box, which is accessible from grade. Speed Levelers were installed on each sewer line existing the distribution box to assure equal flow to each trench. Zone A consists of two trenches, each with 15 ‘Quick 4’ Infiltrator® chambers for a total of 360 square feet of infiltrative area. Zone B consists of two trenches each with 15 ‘Quick 4’ Infiltrator® chambers for a total of 360 square feet of infiltrative area. There was at least 6-feet of undisturbed soil between each trench. Inspection ports were installed at the beginning and end of each trench. These ports can be cut to grade and placed in a sprinkler box for access. The property owner or occupant is responsible for keeping records on the frequency of alternating each STA. We recommend rotating the valve annually. The in-use STA must be monitored to assure saturation does not occur. If saturation is observed, the rotation frequency must be adjusted. Records must be available for review by Garfield County, if requested. We have provided a document to assist in record keeping (enclosed). The OWTS was generally installed according to specifications. This observation is not a guarantee of workmanship and/or parts and materials. ALL SERVICE septic, LLC should be notified if changes are made to the OWTS in the future. Any additional OWTS construction must be according to the county regulations. LIMITS: Observations are limited to components that are visible at the time of the inspection. The installer must have documented and demonstrated knowledge of the requirements and regulations of the county in which they are working. The quality of the installation is dependent of the expertise of the installer, soil type, and weather conditions. Please call with questions.
