Home My WebLink AboutOWTS Installation Observations 12.27.18 December 27, 2018 Project No. C1400 Bob Beyer bobofsweetwater@yahoo.com Onsite Wastewater Treatment System (OWTS) Installation Observations 683 Sweetwater Road Garfield County, Colorado Permit Number SEPT-08-18-5388 Bob, ALL SERVICE septic, LLC observed the installation of the onsite wastewater treatment system (OWTS) on September 13, 2018 for the subject property. Altitude Septic installed the system. All required setbacks, including well and creek setbacks, were verified prior to installation. The existing septic tank and soil treatment area (STA) were abandoned. A new, 4-inch diameter sewer line was tied onto the existing sewer line exiting the residence. An additional sewer line was encountered, originating in the kitchen. This line was connected with a “wye” fitting to the new sewer line just before the new septic tank. The system installation included a new 1000-gallon, two-compartment Roth® poly septic tank with an effluent filter on the outlet tee. This filter must be cleaned annually, or as needed. Orenco® risers were used to bring the manhole lids to grade for access. Effluent gravity flows to a level manifold and four rows of 9 ‘Quick 4’ Standard Plus Infiltrator® chambers for a total of 36 chambers and 432 square feet of infiltrative area. Inspection ports were installed in all four corners of the bed. Ports may be cut to grade and placed in sprinkler boxes for access. The OWTS was generally installed according to specifications. This observation is not a guarantee of workmanship and/or parts and materials. ALL SERVICE septic, LLC should be notified if changes are made to the OWTS in the future. Any additional OWTS construction must be according to the county regulations. LIMITS: Observations are limited to components that are visible at the time of the inspection. The installer must have documented and demonstrated knowledge of the requirements and regulations of the county in which they are working. The quality of the installation is dependent of the expertise of the installer, soil type, and weather conditions. Please call with questions.
