Sopris Bed & Breakfast On Wednesday the 24th I did a walk through on the B & B with Jim Kehoe. There are a few things that he has agreed to complete prior to issuance of a certificate of occupancy, these are: 1. There is an electrical panel mounted in the one -hour fire rated wall between Q the mechanical room and the remainder of the building. Jim Kehoe has agreed to move it to a surface mounted position in the same location. 2. On the day I looked at it there was no door between the Mechanical room and the crawl space and there was only a rough opening. Jim stated that he would be mounting a rated door in that location. 3. At the time of my walk through the smoke detector in the basement area was not interconnected with the detectors outside of the sleeping rooms. Jim said that he would make sure that the electrician made the interconnection. They ifY, will also need to provide one more detector on the upper level in the area of the flat ceiling outside of the guest room, however, I have not required that they interconnect this one as long as the high one is interconnected. 4. On the South side of the building on the upper level, the exit stair has not been installed because the concrete pad has not been poured. I checked on the decorative gas appliances in the rooms and they are direct vented appliances. The free standing fireplace has not been placed yet and I did not ask Jim when this would be installed.
