Dear Mr.Long,
c -- ?169, o2 r95—
We
9c
We have received and reviewed the permit application for your cabin on Brush Creek. A few
more items are required before we can issue the permit and do a final inspection.
We need professional certification from a Colorado Licensed Engineer or Architect that the cabin,
as built, meets all the provisions of 1994 Uniform Building Code, including certification of a 40
pounds per square foot roof snow load capability. Since there are three structures, all in the same
area, two Kellys and one Long, it may be well to share the cost among you for having this
certification done.
We need a Septic System Permit application submitted to us if the cabin is supplied with plumbing
facilities and toilet. Otherwise, certification of a legal drywell or leach field for greywater and a
legal Composting toilet or pit privy system, with a pumpable tank, for waste disposal.
Information concerning those is enclosed.
A Colorado State Electrical Permit must be obtained and inspections performed by the state
inspector, if the cabin has electrical service, before we can do a final inspection and issue a
Certificate of Occupancy.
The plan review fee for this permit is $495.76 which must be paid before further review will be
done. The additional Permit fee will be approximately $762.25.
Thank You for your cooperation.
Sincerely,
efeAte— IA/Ar

Dear Ron,
Your permit application came up in my reminder file today. Rather than wait for certification
from a professional engineer, as I requested in my 7/21/98 letter, we have elected to go ahead and
issue your building permit. Permit #7472 is enclosed. All that is required now is that you call for
a final inspection, preferably at a time when you will be there. As soon as we confirm that the
cabin has been built per plan we will issue a certificate of occupancy for it.
Thanks for your cooperation.
Sincerely,
Steve Hackett
