HomeMy WebLinkAboutLetter from Architect 04.05.2019SERVICES PROPOSAL Mr. Dave Argo Garfield County Building dept. 108 8th street, Ste. 401 GWS, Co. 81601 Hi Dave: April 05, 2019 I went out and inspected the Garage that Oswaldo and Nicole would like to turn into a two bedroom unit. On my inspection, I feel that I can certify the construction as compatible with the proposed re -planning idea. The ceiling joists do not show any sag, and have been beefed up by two new beams. I did not see any record of water damage on the inside, and the roof topping material looks relatively new — 5-10 years old, I would guess. The underlayment is 1 x 6s and are straight, and no rot or discoloration was noticed. The walls are straight and constructed well, and are anchored to the foundation block wall with appropriate fasteners. Get back to me if you need anything else on this.
