AND 2009 INTERNATIONAL ENERGY CONSERVATION CODE (I.E.C.C.) 2) PROPOSED IMPROVEMENTS ARE SUBJECT TO ALL APPLICABLE ITEMS CONTAINED IN THE ATTACHED "GARFIELD COUNTY BUILDING REQUIREMENTS". NUMBERED REFERENCES NOTED ON PLANS REFER TO SPECIFIC ITEMS ON THIS LIST. 3) VERIFY DRIVEWAY PERMIT OR EXEMPTION LETTER FROM ROAD & BRIDGE DEPT. 4) PRIOR TO FINAL INSPECTION & CERTIFICATE OF OCCUPANCY FOR THIS STRUCTURE, THE EXISTING RECREATIONAL CABIN LOCATED ON THIS PROPERTY SHALL BE EITHER: (A) FULLY DECOMMISSIONED AS ANY SORT OF A RESIDENTIAL DWELLING; OR (B) THE OWNER WILL BE REQUIRED TO OBTAIN A BUILDING PERMIT AND ACCESSORY DWELLING UNIT (A.D.U.) PERMIT FOR THE EXISTING CABIN. PLEASE CONTACT THE BUILDING DEPT. FOR SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS FOR EITHER OF THESE TWO OPTIONS. 5) OPEN -HOLE SOILS REPORT REQUIRED AT FOOTING INSPECTION TO VERIFY 3,000 P.S.F. SOILS BEARING CAPACITY. 6) AN ELEVATION SURVEY, SEALED BY A COLORADO PROFESSIONAL LICENSED SURVEYOR, IS REQUIRED AT FRAME INSPECTION TO VERIFY THAT AS -BUILT ROOFS COMPLY WITH GARFIELD COUNTY'S 25 -FOOT BUILDING HEIGHT LIMIT AS DEFINED IN THE LAND USE DEVELOPMENT CODE. 7) A COLORADO STATE LICENSED ELECTRICIAN AND PLUMBER MUST PERFORM SYSTEM INSTALLATION AND HOOK-UPS, UNLESS THE HOMEOWNER IS SELF -PERFORMING THIS WORK. 8) ELECTRICAL PERMITTING AND INSPECTIONS BY COLORADO STATE ELECTRICAL BOARD. ELECTRICAL ROUGH -IN APPROVAL IS REQUIRED AT FRAME INSPECTION. ELECTRICAL FINAL APPROVAL IS REQUIRED FOR FINAL INSPECTION & CERTIFICATE OF OCCUPANCY.
