RE: Chante Pejuta Residence 1SDS — As -Built
Dear Mr. Schwaller,
Please include this letter as an attachment to the documents prepared by David Anderson of Timberline
Engineering for the as -built inspection of the Individual Sewage Disposal System for the Chante Pejuta
residence located at 2701 County Road 100, Carbondale. The additional sewer line that was installed
between the Storage Building (Barn) and septic tank is intended to convey gray water from a utility sink in
the mechanical room of the building. The line is encased in a larger Schedule 40 pipe for a length of 20 feet
where it crosses the water line. The line, however, is not encased for the full extent of where it falls within
50 horizontal feet of the existing well. Please let us know if the as -built installation will comply with the
recent gray water legislation or if we will be required to encase the effluent line where it traverses within
50 feet of the existing well. If additional encasement will be required, that work can be done in the spring
before construction of the Storage Building is completed.
