Dear Mark,
On November 15, 2000, the Garfield County Board of County Commissioners approved
the Klein Subdivision Exemption. We requested and were granted a time extension to
March 15, 2001 to satisfy the conditions of approval.
One of the outstanding conditions of approval required that the existing twenty (20) foot
access easement from County Road 214 be increased to twenty five (25) feet. Through a
series of property exchanges with the adjacent property owners, the additional five (5)
feet of right of way has been acquired. I have attached the Quit Claim Deeds, Easement
Deeds and Lot Boundary Affidavits.
Please find attached the information necessary to satisfy those outstanding conditions.
The information contained in this submittal are as follows:
1) Print of the Final Exemption Plat ( 3 copies)
2) Letter from Resource Engineering, Inc. regarding pump tests on the Klein

Dear John:
October 23, 2000
On December 21, 1999 and January 13, 2000, AquaTech conducted pump tests on
the Klein House Well and the Klein Mobile Home Well respectively. The wells were
pumped at a rate of 15 gpm for a sustained period and drawdown data was collected.
Upon completion of pumping AquaTech collected well recovery data. Copies of the data
are attached.
The House Well was pumped for three hours. It had a total drawdown of 5'-21/2" and
achieved full recovery in 30 minutes.
The Mobile Home well was pumped for four hours. It had a total drawdown of 8'41/2"
and achieved full recovery in just 6 minutes.
Each well can dependably deliver a long term yield of 15 gpm which is adequate to
support at least two homes, each with lawn and landscape irrigation.

March 2, 2000
The attached analytical reports from Grand Junction Labs are for the Klein House Well
and Klein Mobile Home Well. Both wells showed no coliform bacteria and no
exceedence for any of the Colorado Department of Health and Environment standards
except for hardness. The "suggested" limit for hardness is 200 mg/I. The house well
had 276 mg/I and the mobile home well had 339 mg/I. Hardness can be reduced by
a standard water softener if desired, however, it poses no significant health risk.
