A. DANIELSON 7r-StatelE44.43;iFC JUN 2 3 1980 ;1 Lli Lu. et_patotER This is to acknowledge receipt of material pertaining to the above referenced exemption application. In checking our records, we find that Mr. Veltus, the owner, already has a domestic well on the property (regis- tration no. 66856, adjudication no. W-2462). The well was permitted as the only well on a tract of land of 35 acres or more and can legally serve up to three single family dwellings and irrigate up to one acre of lawn or garden. Due to this, it is doubtful that any additional well permits could be issued for this property. We suggest that the owner contact our Ground Water Section concerning issuance of additional wells. Until this matter is resolved, we cannot recommend approval of the Veltus Exemption. Very truly yours, 44.4< Hal D. Simpson, Chief Water Management Branch HDS/GDV:mvf cc: Lee Enewold, Div.
