BEFORE THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
OF GARFIELD COUNTY, COLORADO
PETITION FOR EXEMPTION
Pursuant to C.R.S. 1973, 30-28-101(d) the undersigned
Lawrence L. Williams and Karen S. Williams respectfully petitions
the Board of County Commissioners of Garfield County, Colorado to
exempt by resolution two parcels of land, more fully described
herein, and for the reasons set forth herein.
1. Petitioners are the owners of Lots 1 and 2, Block 3
Elk Creek Development, Garfield County, Colorado.
2. Petitioners wish to sell that portion of said Lots
1 and 2 outlined in red on the attached Exhibit "A"
to the owner of the property immediately adjacent
to the West being Lot 13, Block 3, Elk Creek
Development, Garfield County, Colorado, and to
retain that portion of said lots outlined in green
on the attached Exhibit "A."
3. In support of the petition, we respectfully state
the following:
a) Both parcels have frontage on streets within
the subdivision, which streets are presently
open and in use.
b) The Elk Creek Development has its own water
system.
c) Electrical utilities are natural gas are avail-
able to the property.
d) Because t -retained portions of said Lots 1
and 2 will be utilized as one lot, and the por-
tion to be sold will be combined with Lot 13,
Block 3 of said development, no increase in
housing density will result from the granting of
this petition.

4. A copy of the deeds of conveyance will be filed with.
the petition and the resolution if the exemption is
;ranted.
