The 16' x 24' rectangular wood frame structure appears to be the latest most northerly addition to a residence and garage located at the above referenced address. The 2x6 roof rafters, slightly less than a 5/12 pitch at 24" O.C., clear span directly opposite each other at a 2x6 ridge, a total distance 15'4". The roof rafters are supported on top of 2x4 wall framing and horizontally tied (nailed) with 2x6 continuous stringers (also at 24" O.C.). The roof rafters are tied to the wall framing with positive connectors and the wall framing includes anchor bolts installed into the concrete floor slab. The rafters are adequately sized for the current span using the 40 PSF snow load (approx. shed elev. = 5930 FT) based on #2 grade doug-fir wood. The shed's roof framing appears to be constructed in conformance with Garfield County requirements. I appreciate the opportunity to complete the requested review. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or for additional information.
