PETITION FOR EXEMPTION
Pursuant to C.R.S. (1973) Section 30-28-101(10)(a) - (d) as amended,
and the Subdivision Regulations of Garfield County, Colorado, adopted
September 1, 1972 and amended April 14, 1975, Sections 1.02.17(d) and
3.02.01, the undersigned Russell Scott Writer
respectfully petitions the Board of County Commissioners of Garfield
County, Colorado, to exempt by resolution SE4NW4 Section_ 23
Township 7 South, Range 88 West, 6th P.M., except the North 884'
thereof into 2 tracts as shown on the attached sketch.
more fully hereinafter described, from the definitions of "subdivision"
and "subdivision land" as the terms are used and defined in C.R.S. (1973)
Section 30-28-101(a)•- (d) and the Garfield County Subdivision Regulations,
for the reasons stated below:
1. The proposed subdivision will be adequately served by existing
streets and roads and presents no problems relating to the
intensive use of lands or for provision of utilities and services.
It is not part of an existing or potential land development
project.
2. An existing domestic' well permit has been issued for the,.tract.
3. Utilities are available at the South boundary of the tract.
4. Easements exist providing access to Road 112.
